Fred has a background in editorial design after graduating from Arts University Bournemouth, Visual Communication. After completing the MATD at the University of Reading, Fred has since become a Type Designer, designing, expanding, refining and releasing fonts for foundries across the globe, as well as producing commercial custom typefaces for well known brands, predominantly through studio DRAMA.  

Fred’s Fonts tend to favour joy and friendliness, finding a balance between quirky and functional. Each one has it’s own distinct personality and intended use, often covering Latin, Cyrillic and Greek.
